Wanting to create a brotherhood that incorporated many different values, our founding fathers decided to establish an Alpha Kappa Lambda chapter at the nation's largest university.
In the Fall of 2014, fifteen of our brothers colonized Alpha Kappa Lambda Gamma Rho Chapter at Arizona State University.
During the Summer of 2016, the Gamma Rho Chapter was granted their charter at AKL's National Conclave in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thirty-seven of our brothers were a part of our chapter's chartering.
Since our founding in 2014, the Gamma Rho chapter of Alpha Kappa Lambda has been committed to a style of membership different than that of many traditional fraternities on Arizona State University’s campus. Our members have always taken a different path. We are a different breed. We choose to build our own traditions rather than simply resting on one already established. We stick together and rely on our unyielding brotherhood to collaborate with other fraternities on a daily basis.
